Your New Role
As the maintenance manager, you will be leading and supporting the maintenance team for a large-scale mixed-use property. The Maintenance Manager will work with the General Manager to establish contractor & vendor contracts, manage budgets, and work closely with the capital project management team to ensure seamless operations and a pleasant experience for tenants. The Maintenance Manager will ensure that all building systems including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, life safety, plumbing, and carpentry are maintained and running efficiently.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate takes a customer service approach to maintenance management and has a technical background.
- 6+ years working in Building Operations / Building Maintenance
- 2+ years working in a supervisory / managerial capacity.
- Experience in vendor & contractor management.
- Knowledge of Building Systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general carpentry).
- Additional tickets & education are an asset.
- Yardi experience is an asset.
