Adecco is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a full-time opportunity located in Bedford, NS.
This role will oversee field service operations, manage technicians, and ensure customer satisfaction while controlling operational costs and service revenues. Key Responsibilities
Field & Service Operations

  • Plan, manage, and control field service operations according to service contracts, company policies, and client processes
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technicians and customers regarding technical or operational issues
  • Ensure equipment safety, performance, and service quality
  • Manage callouts, service repairs, and planned maintenance while controlling costs
  • Maintain proximity stock content & value, oversee third-party inspections, and validate technical terms of service contracts
  • Conduct site audits, investigate accidents, and ensure compliance with internal reporting and evidence policies
  • Optimize planned maintenance scheduling and routing
  • Review invoices for callouts and service repairs as required

Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service and precise communication
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints related to service quality or invoicing
  • Drive sales of service repairs and maintain high-quality lead follow-up

People Management & Leadership

  • Supervise and develop assigned technicians, ensuring motivation, competence, and adherence to objectives
  • Manage technician scheduling, absences, workloads, and timesheet validation
  • Oversee equipment assignments, tools, vans, and other resources
  • Support technician hiring, selection, and training to meet operational needs

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
