Join a winning team!<br/><br/>What you will do<br/><br/>Oversee and manage various client assurance and tax engagements (Reviews & Compilations).
Manage engagements from planning to completion of statements and other deliverables.
Participate in implementing the groups business plan.
Coach, train and mentor assurance staff.
Work with Partners and various members of the Assurance practice to help them meet their goals and deliverables.
Apply KPMGs assurance and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements.<br/><br/>What you bring to the role<br/><br/>Bachelors degree in accounting.
Canadian CPA designation.
5+ years of experience working in an accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
Previous experience with Reviews and Compilation Engagements
Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the business and develop strong relationships
Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.
Team player with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and strong leadership qualities.
Strong mentoring and performance management skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficiency in English is required for this position. The successful candidate may be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders at KPMG Canada, located outside of Quebec.
