Manager, Medical Affairs opportunity available for an experienced Medical Affairs or Medical Communications professional with strong scientific expertise, client-facing consultancy experience, and a confident manager who enjoys developing people.
Candidates must have an advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD or MSc) and be keen to work in the Toronto office with the team 3 days a week.
Everything you need to know about the role
As Manager, Medical Affairs you will contribute to high-quality scientific deliverables including medical education materials, training resources, publications, scientific platforms and congress materials.
- Ensure scientific excellence across all deliverables
- Manage and mentor a small team of 3-4 medical writers and analysts
- Support and lead client engagements, providing scientific input and guidance
- Build trusted client relationships by proactively addressing their needs and supporting strategic objectives
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
- An advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MSc or MD)
- 4+ years of experience in medical communications or medical affairs consultancy
- Experience managing projects and people in a fast-paced environment
- Strong scientific acumen and commitment to quality
- Client-focused with a collaborative mindset and stakeholder management skills
