Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic MDM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our enterprise Master Data Management solutions. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our data management landscape, with a focus on Informatica MDM, particularly around customer and product domains.
The ideal candidate is a technical leader who has hands-on experience managing and architecting MDM platforms and understands the nuances of data quality, governance, and integration across complex enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Informatica MDM solutions, focusing on customer and product master data domains.
· Define and drive MDM strategy, standards, and best practices across the organization.
· Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify MDM needs and translate them into scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
· Provide technical leadership and guidance for MDM configurations, customizations, match/merge rules, data stewardship workflows, and integration patterns.
· Oversee MDM tool management including performance tuning, version upgrades, and patching.
· Design and maintain MDM data models and metadata standards.
· Ensure data governance, quality, lineage, and security policies are implemented effectively.
· Mentor and support MDM developers, analysts, and data stewards.
· Stay abreast of industry trends and tools to continually enhance the MDM platform.
Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience in Data Management or related fields, with at least 5 years in Informatica MDM.
· Proven experience with Customer and/or Product MDM implementations.
· Deep understanding of MDM architecture, match/merge logic, hierarchy management, data stewardship, and governance frameworks.
· Hands-on experience managing the Informatica MDM Hub and associated components.
· Strong knowledge of data integration techniques and experience with ETL tools.
· Solid understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and metadata management.
· Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid MDM deployments is a plus.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred Certifications:
· Informatica MDM Certification
· TOGAF, DAMA, or other data architecture/governance-related certifications
