Description

We are looking for an experienced MES Consultant with strong expertise in Werum PAS-X and MBR (Master Batch Record) design to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in a hybrid role based in Toronto.

In this role, you will work closely with manufacturing, quality, validation, and IT teams to design, configure, and support MES solutions that ensure GMP compliance, process efficiency, and data integrity across production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain PAS-X MES solutions aligned with manufacturing and business requirements.
  • Lead or contribute to MBR design and implementation, including recipe modeling and process workflows.
  • Translate business and production needs into functional MES specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, QA, Validation, Automation, IT).
  • Support MES testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
  • Participate in MES validation activities following GxP and CSV guidelines.
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an MES Consultant in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Werum PAS-X.
  • Solid background in MBR (Master Batch Record) design and execution.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and shop floor systems.
  • Experience working in GMP-regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with validation lifecycle (CSV) is a strong asset.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model in Toronto.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.

Expected Compensation Range:

50K-110K The final compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate’s level of experience, skills, and qualifications, in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements.

Canadian Experience Requirement:

No Canadian work experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of previous Canadian experience.
