We’re looking for a Health & Safety Advisor who’s passionate about creating safer, healthier workplaces. In this role, you’ll partner with our Vice President of Human Resources to drive proactive safety initiatives, eliminate hazards wherever possible, and strengthen our wellness culture at all Sunrise Soya Foods locations in BC and Ontario.

Your mission? Be the champion of safety standards and regulations inspiring teams at every level with clear, empathetic communication, effective training, and a commitment to keeping our workplace one of the safest in the industry.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Safety Management or a related field)
  • 2–3 years’ experience in health & safety, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong, respectful, and inclusive communication skills
  • Comfort with technology and safety management softwar
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
  • A proven knack for motivating teams to achieve safety goals
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, even in ambiguous situations
  • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to work independently under pressure
  • In-depth knowledge of BC and ON health and safety regulations

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time, permanent role (Monday–Friday, with flexibility for evenings/weekends if needed)
  • Split between office (50%) and production facilities (50%)
  • Some exposure to noise and varied temperatures in production areas
