Description
We are seeking a seasoned<br/><br/>Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) Techno-Functional Consultant<br/><br/>with strong integration experience, particularly in cloud-native technologies. This role requires hands-on expertise in RMS, PLSQL, and UNIX, as well as experience in web services, messaging systems, and modern microservices-based architectures.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications around Oracle Retail RMS.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including offshore to ensure business and technical alignment.
Design and develop complex application logic involving Oracle PLSQL, shell scripting, and Oracle AQ.
Optimize SQL and PLSQL performance for large-scale retail data environments.
Contribute to systems integration using REST APIs, Kafka, and Java Springboot.
Support and maintain Web Services and event-driven architecture.
Implement microservices using containers (e.g., Kubernetes) on cloud platforms like Azure or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability and scalability.<br/><br/>Required Skills:
Strong techno-functional experience in Oracle RMS (Retail Merchandising System) .
Advanced experience in<br/><br/>Oracle PLSQL, UNIX shell scripting , Oracle AQ, messaging systems.
Proven<br/><br/>SQL/PLSQL performance tuning<br/><br/>capabilities.
Experience with<br/><br/>web service-oriented architecture and integrations .
Familiarity with<br/><br/>event-driven architecture , containers,<br/><br/>microservices , and<br/><br/>REST APIs<br/><br/>is a strong plus.
Hands-on with<br/><br/>Kafka, Java Springboot ,<br/><br/>Azure Kubernetes , and<br/><br/>Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)<br/><br/>is preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially working with offshore teams.<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience in the retail industry or similar enterprise environments.<br/><br/>
