Position Overview :

By taking ownership of term renewals, this incumbent will assist our members in building a customized financial wellness plan that serves them now and into their future. The incumbent will support the MSOW2s, build YCU’s profile in the community as a professional and preferred provider of wealth management products, services, and expertise, leading to new wealth management customers and banking relationships.

Job Specifications :

  • Proven networking, relationship building, client acquisition, and asset gathering abilities
  • Experience in building Financial Wellness, specifically MFDA portfolios
  • Working knowledge of the investment industry and products
  • Expertise in using software programs (e.g., RFS and CRM) to maximize time management and enhance the member experience
  • Demonstrated service abilities, ensuring members have proper financial tools for their current needs, including asking for the business when appropriate
  • Flexibility to work hours that meet member service demands
  • Professionalism in dress, tone, flexibility, and communication
  • Ability to work independently, organize, and manage priorities and deadlines

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Engage in business development activities through outbound calls, networking, and other sales opportunities
  • Build member relationships, creating trust and discovering suitable investment solutions
  • Make decisions with the member’s best interest in mind, based on analysis, experience, and judgment
  • Identify referral opportunities, complete documentation, and direct members to MSOW2s
  • Offer and refer / enroll members in investments, services, and mutual funds aligned with their financial wellness journey
  • Meet standards for member loyalty, observations, development plans, and coaching sessions
  • Participate in activities promoting member financial wellness

Service

  • Manage term renewals and advise on next steps based on current wellness status
  • Respond to member inquiries related to term deposits and investment options, making referrals as needed
  • Maintain CRM updates to facilitate appropriate solutions
  • Build rapport, ask questions to uncover needs, research details, and recommend solutions
  • Convert points of contact into relationship banking, using CRM prompts
  • Employ problem-solving skills for effective and innovative solutions
  • Collaborate and work well with others, demonstrating diplomacy and tact
