Legal Administrative Assistant – Litigation and Corporate (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) Location:
Downtown Toronto | Type:
Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to support our client’s busy legal team, with a preference for candidates experienced in residential and commercial real estate transactions . This role supports both legal professionals and administrative functions, including light accounting and client communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with client intake , engagement letters, and document preparation
Support real estate closings: prepare and organize closing documents, draft reporting letters, manage escrow documentation, and handle post-closing organization
Draft and format legal correspondence and documents, including Wills and Powers of Attorney
Maintain and organize files using LEAP; manage calendars, emails, and scheduling in Outlook
Act as a liaison between clients and lawyers, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication
Assist with trust deposits, invoicing, audit responses, and reconciliation tasks using Teraview and QuickBooks
Prepare court documents and liaise with courts or tribunals as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Strong administrative experience in a law firm, ideally with real estate law exposure
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, LEAP, QuickBooks, and document management tools like OneDrive or Dropbox
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage shifting priorities
