Job Description: We are now seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Process Technician to support our client’s production and engineering teams. In this role, you will assist with shop floor setups, diagnose and resolve quality and process challenges, maintain and update documentation, and train team members on standard practices. The successful candidate will help ensure that methods, tools, and processes are optimized for safety, efficiency, and quality. Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working closely with senior engineers, you will play an integral role in driving continuous improvement and enhancing process reliability.
Job Type: Full-time, permanent.
Location: Ingersoll, ON
Shift Structure: All 3 shift bi-weekly rotation (days, afternoons, and nights)
Location of tasks: 75% on the shop floor and 25% office work.
Compensation: $54,500 to $75,000 depending on experience + excellent benefits + profit sharing + tuition reimbursement and more!
Responsibilities:
- Trouble shoot shop floor as it relates to quality and processing issues with assistance from more senior programmers/Engineering Manager.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Ability to guide / assist setup personal with day to day setup duties.
- Train shop floor team members as needed.
- Ability to trial and analyse tool trials to improve productivity.
- Ensure that all methods, tools, and processes are used by follow-up.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Candidates that hold a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer or other Engineer diploma are considered an asset
- Minimum 5 years of related experience within a Process Technician role.
- Must have CNC Lathe Experience with setup and/or programming.
- Must be mechanically inclined and have experience hands on with machinery and tooling.
- Requires base knowledge of general machining practices.
- Requires base knowledge of gauge designs and practices.
- Able to specify processes to manufacture components with assistance from more senior programmers/Engineering manager.
- Able to correct machining problems by tooling, gauging, machining or fixturing.
- Experience with frequent processing of multiple tasks and projects with frequent interruptions.
- Must have own reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work all three shifts (days, afternoons, and nights)
- Must be able to complete controlled goods security assessment (see below)

Registration with the Controlled Goods Program is mandatory for any person examining, possessing, or transferring controlled goods in Canada. To register with the Controlled Goods Program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be either a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.
- Must have worked in Canada the last 5+ years.
- Must not have left Canada for more than 6 months in the last 5 years.
- Must be willing to pass a clean criminal background.
- Must have at least 1 work reference and 2 personal references.
