<p><b>Product Packaging Designer</b></p><p><b>(Part-Time, Contract)</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>ABOUT THE ROLE</b></p><p>We’re looking for an experienced Product Packaging Designer to support ongoing and upcoming product launches across our cosmetics and personal care portfolio. This role is highly executional, detail-driven, and deeply embedded in the product development process — from early concepting through final print-ready files.</p><p><br></p><p>You’ll own packaging design across primary and secondary formats, collaborate closely with Product, Brand, and external vendors, and be relied on for fast, accurate updates when timelines are tight.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an ongoing, part-time partnership with flexible workload, reporting into the VP of Product Development and working closely with our Product Project Manager and Chief of Brand.</p><p><br></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><p><b>To excel in this role, you should have:</b></p><ul><li>Develop packaging design roadmaps and creative concepts for new product launches, including primary and secondary packaging</li><li>Design and update packaging files across multiple formats, including boxes, jars, bottles, tubes, and custom components</li><li>Create branded sample packaging and adapt existing dielines as needed</li><li>Prepare and upload final, approved artwork to Greenlight, ensuring correct version codes and file accuracy</li><li>Deliver final print-ready files in accordance with production and vendor specifications</li><li>Create mockups and visual representations for internal review, presentations, and approvals</li><li>Produce 3D renders of packaging concepts for digital visualization and internal use</li><li>Maintain a highly organized file system so packaging assets are easy to reference, update, and version</li><li>Reference key documentation to ensure accuracy, including copy spreadsheets, packaging agendas, and Jira tickets</li><li>Attend weekly project check-in meetings with the Product team</li><li>Support urgent packaging updates when needed, typically with a 24-hour turnaround for high-priority changes</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, printers, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What We’re Looking For</b></p><ul><li>Proven experience designing <b>primary and secondary packaging</b> for cosmetics or personal care products</li><li>Strong understanding of <b>print production</b>, dielines, packaging materials, and production constraints</li><li>Advanced proficiency in <b>Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop</b></li><li>Experience with 3D rendering software is a plus</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and version control</li><li>Highly responsive and comfortable working in fast-moving, deadline-driven environments</li><li>Strong collaborator who communicates clearly with both creative and technical stakeholders</li><li>Comfortable working autonomously while staying aligned with broader product and brand timelines</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Packaging Types You’ll Work On</b></p><ul><li>Boxes</li><li>Jars</li><li>Bottles</li><li>Tubes</li><li>Custom packaging components</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Engagement Details</b></p><ul><li>Freelance / Part-Time Contract</li><li>Up to 20 hours per week</li><li>Ongoing partnership with flexible workload</li><li>Must be available for short-notice updates when required</li><li>Fully remote</li></ul><p></p>
