We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to oversee our de-manufacturing operations across two shifts. Job Summary:
In this role, working closely with the Plant Manager you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, meeting quality standards, and managing a team of 80 production staff. This role requires a strong focus on operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. This role a cross-shift function.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Provide support, guidance and development for Production Supervisors and Shipping & Receiving team. Lead, manage and motivate the team members across all shifts.
Health & Safety: Ensure all guidelines and safety standards are followed as well as drive further safety improvements.
Production Oversight: Ensure daily, weekly, monthly production targets & KPIs are achieved with desired quality. Support inventory management along with production scheduling and planning as necessary.
Continuous Improvement: Always looking for ways to improve productivity, quality, health & safety and working with Plant Manager to implement best practices.
Communication: Ensuring strong communication between all stakeholders, shift leaders, management team and various departments (Finance, HR, Logistics, Sales etc) is done swiftly and concisely.
Audit & Compliance: Lead & Support compliance requirements for customers, recycling programs, health and safety etc.
Qualifications:
– Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant technical field (e.g. engineering).
– 5 years of supervisory experience required leading multiple teams.
– Proven leadership skills with strong communication skills.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with ERP system.
– Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– Experience in manufacturing is a must.
