As we continue to scale our operations, we are seeking a Production Detailer to support the transition from approved design to production ready assets.

Role Description

The Production Detailer plays a critical role in translating approved shop drawings into detailed production-ready documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and manufacturability for our shop floor and CNC team. This on-site role, based in Vaughan, Ontario. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting design challenges, maintaining accurate project documentation, and acting as a liaison between different teams to ensure production efficiency and quality standards. This role works closely with the Production Manager, Product Designer, and CNC operations to streamline development-to-production workflow.

Role Description

  • Finalize production drawings based on approved shop drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed BOMs and documentation.
  • Ensure drawings are clear, buildable, and aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Production Manager to reduce shop floor clarification issues.
  • Support continuous improvement of design-to-production workflows.
  • Assist in resolving constructability and detailing challenges for custom furniture

Qualifications

  • Experience in production detailing, millwork, cabinetry, or custom furniture manufacturing
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (required)
  • Strong understanding of case goods construction and materials
  • Ability to interpret designer drawings and technical specifications
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
