Job Summary:

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with over five years of supervisory experience in the food manufacturing sector. You will play a key part in driving performance, coaching frontline staff, and maintaining compliance with GMP and HACCP protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate, and lead production staff on a designated shift to ensure safe and efficient operation of the production line

• Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet deadlines and production targets

• Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, and sanitation standards (GMP, HACCP, CFIA)

• Conduct regular safety talks and enforce health & safety policies

• Monitor line performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime

• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and engagement

• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and logs

• Liaise with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure seamless operations

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a food / CPG manufacturing environment

• Proven knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-oriented approach

• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume production settings

• Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and make sound decisions under pressure

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production tracking systems

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed
