<p><b>The Opportunity:</b></p><p><br></p><p>This role supports the Engineering Manager and plays a key part in the development and launch of new programs. You’ll help drive both upfront product development and in-plant activities, while overseeing the design, build, and validation of secondary equipment, check fixtures, and packaging solutions.</p><p><br></p><p><b>What You’ll Be Doing:</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Providing program leadership and serving as a customer interface for assigned projects, including APQP meetings and paint/mould/assembly trials.</li><li>Executing the full lifecycle (scope, source, design, build, validate, launch) of secondary equipment in collaboration with Production.</li><li>Managing the execution of CMM and gauge fixtures with input from Quality.</li><li>Leading packaging development for WIP and finished goods.</li><li>Preparing and presenting procurement documents and business cases.</li><li>Developing and updating core launch documentation such as OIN, PFD, and PFMEA.</li><li>Maintaining key business documents including BOMs, VSMs, asset tracking, and balance sheets.</li><li>Coordinating pre-production builds, sample shipments, and equipment movement.</li><li>Providing upfront design analysis and costing input.</li><li>Working closely with suppliers to ensure strong design-for-manufacturability practices.</li><li>Participating in customer meetings as needed.</li><li>Supporting GR&R, capability studies, and equipment/product evaluations.</li><li>Assisting with cost validation at each APQP gate.</li><li>Leading or supporting special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Contributing to new business development efforts.</li><li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and address production or quality issues.</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned by the Program or Engineering Manager.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What You’ll Need To Be Successful:</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Strong communication and leadership capabilities.</li><li>Solid project management and technical writing skills.</li><li>Working knowledge of APQP, root cause analysis, and GD&T.</li><li>Proficiency with common computer applications.</li><li>Experience with injection moulding, painting, stamping, roll forming, and assembly processes.</li><li>3–5 years of experience supporting program launches.</li><li>5–10 years of experience in an automotive production environment.</li><li>Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, and health & safety practices.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Compensation Range: </b>$85,000 – $100,000</p><p></p>
