Junior Project Manager, long term contract

The Client:

Valued Government of Canada client in the Defense space

Key Responsibilities:

Replacement of legacy Air Traffic Infrastructure

· Plan and coordinate project management activities including financial planning and contracting aspects

· Coordinate and prepare documentation in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports, returns and observations, to provide management with updates on project progress.

· Formulate and track project plans by defining deliverables, identifying key milestones, reviewing project progress, and engaging in ongoing risk management.

What you must bring to this role:

  • Must have a University Degree from recognized Canadian University
  • Must have minimum of twenty-four (24) months experience in the last seventy-two (72) months using records management software such as, but not limited to, Records Document and Information Management System (RDIMS), System Application & Products (SAP) and SharePoint.
  • Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months experience in the last seventy-two (72) months in maintaining, updating, reporting financial records and managing a budget in excess of $1.5M per year.
  • Candidate must have Secret Clearance
  • Must be comfortable with travel throughout Canada on a regular basis
