A reputable General Contractor specializing in (ICI) new build projects is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Toronto. Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of ICI new build construction projects, from pre-construction planning through to project closeout.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations, ensuring that timelines and cost objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee procurement and contract administration, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels.
  • Anticipate and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to maintain momentum and client confidence.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across all job sites.

Skills and Experience:

  • Project Management Expertise: Proven track record managing ICI new build projects from conception to delivery.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Technical Acumen: Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and construction management software.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8–12 years in a project management role within the construction industry, ideally with a General Contractor managing new build projects.
  • Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
