Description
LeverageTek is actively seeking a Project Manager (System Modernization) for a 8-month contract (2.5 days per week) position with its Ottawa-based customer.
Work Location
Remote (Preference for GTA or Ottawa)
Key Tasks
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for all three components.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, vendor, and operations stakeholders.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to keep the project on track.
- Lead vendor coordination efforts for cloud migration and application upgrades.
- Oversee pilot testing and evaluation of virtual screening functionality, including gathering user feedback and performance metrics.
- Prepare and deliver regular project updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Qualifications
- 6+ years of Project Management experience
- Cloud migration project experience to enhance system reliability, scalability, and maintainability (AWS cloud platform)
- Experience with major regulated system upgrades
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading complex IT or healthcare-related projects, particularly involving software upgrades and cloud migrations.
- Strong understanding of AWS-hosted systems and vendor-managed platforms.
- Familiarity with clinical screening processes is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare or related industry background
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred.
