Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Professional with deep expertise in Capital Markets, particularly in Equities and Prime Brokerage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional and automation testing, along with a solid understanding of trade lifecycle, risk management, and settlement processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our trading platforms, back-office systems, and related financial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for Capital Markets applications (Equities, Prime Brokerage, etc.).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of trading platforms, order management systems (OMS), and risk management tools.
- Validate front-to-back trade flows, including trade capture, execution, clearing, settlement, and reporting.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured) to improve testing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in Equities, Prime Brokerage, and Securities Finance.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to process improvements.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
