Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for both white-collar and blue-collar roles in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position requires strong sourcing skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capability to manage staged hiring ramp-ups while collaborating closely with hiring managers and the HR team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume recruitment for non-unionized roles, including:
- White-collar positions: 12–15 roles
- Blue-collar hourly trades roles: 90–100 roles
- Execute full-cycle recruitment for both contract and permanent positions, with a focus on full-time employees (FTE)
- Source candidates through job boards, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Partner with external recruitment agencies to meet hiring needs
- Screen resumes and present qualified candidates to hiring managers for interviews
- Coordinate and manage staged hiring processes to support ramp-up requirements
- Oversee onboarding for all new hires and collaborate with the existing HR team to ensure a smooth transition
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with company standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in staffing and high-volume recruitment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior leadership
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment for both white-collar and blue-collar roles
- Professional, presentable, and highly organized
- Knowledge of working with recruitment agencies
- Experience recruiting for technical roles such as welders, laborers, technicians, and carpenters
- Proficiency in basic MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for scheduling and interview coordination
- Familiarity with MS Project for planning and tracking hiring activities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
