We’re looking for a Recruitment Team Lead to join our team at our Edmonton corporate office.

In this role, you will prioritize enhancing candidate experience by optimizing processes and delivering market insights to stakeholders. You will delegate tasks effectively, monitor team capacity, manage escalations, and collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic recruitment goals. Your focus will also be on fostering innovation, inspiring your team, and ensuring that both active and passive candidates are effectively engaged.

What You Will Do

  • Work collaboratively with each hiring manager to understand job requirements and expectations.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining adherence to guidelines, laws, and recommended practices.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to forecast staffing requirements, align project objectives, and manage risks and strategies.
  • Create effective recruiting strategies, manage job postings, maintain talent pools, and track recruitment metrics to achieve targets.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and community partners to support diversity and optimize talent acquisition efforts.
  • Actively lead and foster development within the recruitment team, promoting engagement and improving efficiency through feedback and coaching.

What You Bring

Diploma in HR or Business Administration, 5+ years in recruitment, 2 years in leadership; RPR or CPHR designation is an asset.

  • Expertise in recruitment best practices, including sourcing, interviewing, employer branding, and using HR technology and social media.
  • Leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to build trust, drive change, and align teams with organizational goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, HR software, and skilled in written, verbal, and public presentation communication.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking, problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with labour laws.
