Vallfirest is an international company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and sales of cutting-edge wildland firefighting equipment. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Canada focused Sales Representative to join our team in Canada.
You will work with the Director of Sales to develop and execute a sales strategy for your territory, open new business opportunities, train and support distributors, and attend events. Collaboration with Vallfirest Customer Service Representatives is a critical part of the job.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales strategy development and execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies for your assigned region, aligned with Vallfirest’s objectives.
- Analyze local market trends in the fire and emergency industry and set achievable sales goals.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Represent Vallfirest at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events in Canada.
- Monitor regional sales performance, adjust strategies, and report results to senior management.
- Achieve or exceed defined sales targets.
2. Account management and client relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, fire departments, municipalities, key decision makers and stakeholders.
- Travel regularly (60–70%) to meet current and potential clients.
- Provide expert advice on wildland firefighting solutions, highlighting Vallfirest’s products to enhance safety and efficiency.
3. CRM Management (Salesforce)
- Manage and update client information, sales opportunities, and activities in CRM..
- Use data to identify trends, forecast opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in client records.
4. Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, customer service, and operations teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Provide insights into client needs and regional trends to support marketing campaigns and sales materials.
- Collaborate with the product team on feedback regarding performance, client requirements, and product improvements.
5. Training and sales development
- Stay up-to-date on sales best practices, specialized products, and emergency sector trends.
- Lead product presentations and live demonstrations to showcase technical advantages.
6. Reporting and analysis
- Prepare regular sales reports tracking key metrics, including market share, client satisfaction, and strategy effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
7. Compliance and safety regulations
- Ensure all sales activities comply with Canadian federal, provincial, and municipal regulations for emergency products.
- Educate clients on the importance of adhering to local and national safety standards.
Key Competencies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a plus).
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mainstream CRM tools.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to present confidently in client meetings and industry events.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to grow professionally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- College or university degree (preferred).
- Sales and/or inside sales experience.
- Experience in firefighting services or as a fire equipment supplier (highly desirable).
- Additional language skills (French, Spanish) are a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
- Experience in wildland firefighting is an asset but not required.
