Insight Global is seeking a Talend/Databricks Integration Architect to join a top aerospace manufacturer in Montreal, QC. This position is remote across Canada following EST working hours.

The Talent/Databricks Integration Architect will design, build, and deploy robust data integrations between enterprise systems and the Kinaxis Maestro planning platform. This role requires deep expertise in Talend/Databricks ETL tools, and the Kinaxis data models to ensure seamless data flow, governance, and integrity. The candidate will own shared understanding across the project spectrum from high-level business objectives to detailed functionality and will work with other developers towards building and validating solutions to meet expected outcomes. The individual selected for this role will work with internal teams as well as external partners including outsources and technology application vendors. This position requires hands-on experience in advanced planning tool such as Kinaxis Maestro, integration knowledge with SAP and non-SAP transactional systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and document the overall integration architecture, including interfaces, connections, imports, and exports, between Kinaxis RapidResponse and source systems (ERP, WMS, etc.).
  • Configure and develop integration jobs using Talend/Databricks ETL tools to validate, synthesize, and transform data for Kinaxis, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Apply a deep understanding of the Kinaxis data model, including data source and mapping, data model and control tables, linkages, space names, and partitions, to support diverse planning use cases.
  • Lead technical design discussions, gather data requirements from supply chain planners and IT specialists, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Develop and support the execution of comprehensive test plans (UAT) and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for integration issues.
  • Ensure robust documentation of all integration processes and configurations to maintain data governance and lineage.
  • Identify and drive areas for service improvements, ensuring solutions are scalable, sustainable, and perform optimally.
  • Create detailed technical documents outlining system functionalities, data structures, and integration points within the Kinaxis platform
  • Manage data mapping and integration between Kinaxis and other enterprise systems such as SAP ECC and S4.
  • Possess deep knowledge of various Kinaxis modules such as demand forecasting, supply planning, capacity planning, inventory planning, and S&OP to tailor solutions to specific client needs.
  • Coordinates system integration testing based on user or system design specifications.
  • Ensure logic and design is aligned with the core architecture of the systems / applications.
  • Find and propose innovative solutions that enable process automation, leveraging best practices and technologies within the company’s application processes and architecture.

Must haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field with 10 years’ experience. OR a Masters degree with 8+ years of related experience
  • Must be proficient in ETL tools, specifically Talend/Databricks
  • Advanced understanding of the Kinaxis Maestro Data Model and Integration Model, proficiency in SQL and JavaScript.
  • Experience with various Integration Architecture use cases.
  • Hands on experience in configuring and supporting process design in Talend/Databricks with Kinaxis RapidResponse integration with strong understanding of the module
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience integrating Kinaxis with major ERP systems such as SAP.

  • Kinaxis Certified Integration Consultant.
  • Technical experience and a working knowledge in SAP ECC MRP highly desired skill set in manufacturing environment
  • Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment
