We are currently hiring for a Robotic Welder/Programmer, a full-time role offering competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and excellent potential for career growth.

The ideal candidate is responsible to weld and program assemblies and the operation of robotic welding equipment for any Schulte product in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System

This position requires relocation to the Englefeld/Humboldt or nearby area. We offer relocation support for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Safety inspections of hoists, forklifts and weld equipment
  • Take instruction and workload assignments from Supervisors
  • Follow through on First Part Checked procedure and sign offs
  • Follow SOPS provided for weldments and sign offs
  • Proper handle and use of jigs safety and properly
  • Weld and program assemblies designated for the robotic welder
  • Edit weld programs to improve efficiency and quality
  • Manual welding of inaccessible areas by robot
  • Changing out the jigs/fixtures in the robot cell
  • Spot weld assemblies before robotic welder welds them
  • Cleaning welds and removal of splatter when weld is completed
  • Identifying weldment with assigned stamp
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Maintain schedule and deadline requirements
  • Gather and transport product from Shop to Designated areas
  • Inspecting and reporting any non-conforming product
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

  • Ability to read shop drawings and operate automated welding systems
  • Ability to follow safe work procedures
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with little or no supervision
  • Skills needed to identify substandard workmanship in fabrication and weld process
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to get along well with others
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of small hands tools, impacts and air tools

Qualifications

  • High Post-secondary education in a technical field, or a combination of previous robotic weld experience and education
  • Robotic weld and general weld experience
  • Pushing, pulling or dragging up to 50lbs
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs
