Description
We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to join our team of skilled professionals in Ontario. This position requires that you plan and manage territory activities to achieve sales and market share growth utilizing approved sales and marketing strategy and tools while providing excellent customer service to all customers in territory. The Sales Representative reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for sales and administration of their territory.LOCATION:Windsor, Ontario, CanadaAccountabilities:Organize and execute a business plan to meet territory sales goals and customer needsDevelop new customers and grow existing customersUtilize approved sales/marketing tools within budgetTimely and effective communication of market and competition trends as well as requests for pricing or payment exceptionsIncrease IKO market share in territoryKey Responsibilities:Develop relationships and grow sales with assigned distribution customers in territoryFrequently contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders, and architects to drive demand for IKO productsPresent products and programs to qualified distributors and end users on a weekly basisPerform Product Knowledge (PK) training sessions with customersFollow up on inquiries from customers or IKO administration in a timely fashionSubmittal of weekly Intelligence Reports in a timely fashionAttend meetings, functions and company provided training as requiredInvestigation and processing of product quality complaints in territoryAdhere to all IKO policies and procedures, including Health and Safety and Vehicle policiesAny other responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skillsProven ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environmentProven ability of calling primarily on the end user and performing “pull through” sales techniquesProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goalsPrior sales experience in building products industry is preferredPrior sales experience contacting roofing contractors, builders and/or architects is preferredPrior professional sales training is preferred2 or 4 year college degree in a Sales or Marketing related field is preferredGood driving record with valid driver’s licenseStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office productsJoin usAt IKO, we recognize that our success is due to the strength of our employees and to that end we nurture and support our employees’ sense of accomplishment and their contribution.
