Job Opportunity: Sales Manager – Canada (Pump Manufacturing)

Summary:

Mackinnon Bruce International is representing a leading pump manufacturing company in the search for a Sales Manager Canada. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners across Canada. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in executing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and expanding the company’s footprint in the Canadian pump and fluid handling market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Canadian market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and engineering partners.
  • Manage assigned accounts, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion initiatives in various industries such as oil & gas, water & wastewater, power generation, and industrial process sectors.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, sales meetings, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and technical support.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to support sales initiatives and team development.
  • Travel across Canada as required (estimated up to 50%).

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in English and French.
  • Knowledge of pump systems, fluid handling solutions, and industrial applications is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Proficient in project management, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience in industrial sales, pump systems, or fluid handling considered.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, territory management, or account management.
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license and current passport required.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with travel across Canada to meet clients, distributors, and project sites.
  • Exposure to industrial and manufacturing environments may be required.
