The Opportunity: Master the Craft, Drive Revenue
We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Trainer —a coaching champion and HubSpot expert—who will drive sales excellence across our client and internal teams. This role is designed for an individual with significant leadership potential who can immediately impact our sales methodologies and culture, and is expected to grow into a senior role responsible for scaling our teams.
Your mission is two-fold: 70% focus on external client sales coaching and consultation, and 30% focus on internal sales enablement for our Set2Close teams, ensuring we hit the 2X growth mandate from the ground up. This role offers the opportunity to master our operational and growth strategy before taking on expanded responsibilities.
What You’ll Do (Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It):
Client Sales Coaching & Revenue Consulting (70% Focus)
- Sales Methodology Coaching: Lead external client workshops and training sessions to instill Set2Close’s high-performance B2B sales methodologies, focusing on prospecting, qualification, and closing skills.
- HubSpot Mastery for Clients: Train client sales and RevOps teams on advanced utilization of HubSpot CRM, Sales Hub, and Marketing Hub to streamline processes and maximize conversion rates.
- Playbook Development: Design, write, and deliver bespoke sales playbooks, training modules, and best-practice guides tailored to the unique needs of our B2B clients.
- AI Adoption & Enablement: Teach clients how to effectively integrate and leverage cutting-edge AI sales agents and RevOps tools for prospect research, data enrichment, and efficiency.
- Value Delivery: Ensure every external consulting and training engagement delivers tangible, measurable results and aligns with our commitment to driving growth with purpose.
Internal Enablement & Team Coaching (30% Focus)
- Team Coaching: Conduct weekly and ad-hoc training sessions and 1:1 coaching with our internal Sales team ($5$ people) and Account Management team ($5$ people) to build skills and drive accountability.
- Drive 2x Readiness: Focus internal training efforts specifically on the key strategies, metrics, and processes required to meet the company goal of doubling team output within $12$ months.
- Internal Sales Process Refinement: Collaborate with leadership to refine Set2Close’s internal sales playbooks, focusing on process efficiency and optimal use of HubSpot for our teams.
- Metrics & Diagnostics: Dive into internal sales data to diagnose performance gaps, provide targeted training interventions, and prepare sales forecasts for leadership.
- Culture Champion: Help foster a collaborative, high-energy, and high-accountability sales culture through inspirational training and mentorship.
What You Bring to the Party:
- A Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of B2B sales experience, including 4+ years dedicated to sales training, enablement, or consulting with external clients.
- Proven experience developing and delivering high-impact, scalable sales training curriculum to adult learners and professional sales teams.
- HubSpot wizardry—you are an expert user and trainer on HubSpot CRM, Sales Hub, and Marketing Hub.
- Deep knowledge of B2B sales cycles, revenue operations, and inbound methodologies.
- Prior experience in an agency or consulting environment is mandatory.
- A passion for balancing results with purpose, inspired by our B Corp commitment to ethical growth.
- Exceptional communication skills, charisma, and the ability to command a room, whether virtual or in-person.
- Bonus: Experience implementing AI sales tools or modern sales tech.
