Duration: Upon-Start until June 31st, 2026, plus additional extension(s) potentially up-to 2-years

Level of Effort (LoE): Part-Time / 20-hours per week, potentially increasing to Full-Time hours

Project Description: PwC Canada’s internal SAP Practice requires a Senior Finance Consultant, to act as a part of PwC’s internal SAP Practice on an ongoing Global SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Implementation Project, with our Private Sector client, leading as subject matter expert and to provide ongoing advisor and support as required.

MANDATORY PREREQUISITE:

  • Must offer a minimum of ten years (120 months) of SAP Finance Consulting experience.

PREFERENCE:

  • Applicants with demonstrated SAP Certification(s) and Accounting Designation(s) will be preferred.

Core SAP Finance Skills:

  • SAP General Ledger (GL) configuration and maintenance;
  • SAP Asset Accounting, including Asset Under Construction (AUC), Capex WBS, and/or investment profiles;
  • Bank statement processing and reconciliation;
  • Exchange rate configuration and currency conversion tables; and
  • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) creation and settlement rules.

Core Accounting Skills :

  • Joint Venture Accounting;
  • Fixed Assets valuation; and
  • Payment runs, clearing process, and/or foreign currency valuation.

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Financial Statement Version (FSV) setup and mapping;
  • Data Medium Exchange Engine (DMEE) mapping and payment methods;
  • Cost allocation and cutback accounts; and
  • Value-Added Tax (VAT) reposting, and/or tax box configuration;
  • Fluently bilingual, in French and English, written and spoken (Nice-to-Have).

Nice-to-have General:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and APIs;
  • Experience within the Oil & Gas or Energy;
  • Experience within multi-countries (Global, AMER/EMEA);
  • Experience with Managed Services; and
  • Experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for invoicing.
