Senior Reporting Developer (Hybrid 2 days in office 3 days remote)

12 month contract

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Reporting Developer to design, optimize, and automate data pipelines and reporting solutions that power financial, subscriber, and customer analytics. You’ll collaborate across multiple teams to deliver high-quality, scalable reporting and ETL processes.

What you’ll do

  • Lead requirements sessions; translate business needs into robust data workflows.
  • Build and optimize SAS/SQL ETL automations for revenue and subscriber reporting.
  • Enhance reporting ecosystem; modernize and automate recurring processes.
  • Perform data analysis/mining; ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Define testing strategies; validate outputs and resolve defects.
  • Manage multiple initiatives and stakeholder requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentor team members and promote best practices.

What you’ll bring

  • 5–8+ years in ETL/reporting development with advanced SQL.
  • Strong SAS (DI Studio, Enterprise Guide); experience with Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle.
  • BI/visualization experience (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Data Warehousing, Data Marts, modeling, and governance knowledge.
  • Experience with marketing data (lists, exclusions, CASA compliance) is a plus.
  • Tools: Excel, Jira, Confluence.
  • Proven project/change management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Day-to-day

  • Prioritize and deliver data requests/modifications.
  • Run and improve established financial and customer reporting procedures.
  • Create new data solutions and dashboards; troubleshoot anomalies.
  • Monitor pipelines and performance; drive continuous improvement.
