<p><b>Senior Associate, Litigation – Avocat.e sociétaire sénior, litige – MTL</b></p><p><b>BJRC Recruiting</b></p><p>Montreal, Quebec, Canada (Hybrid)</p><p><br></p><p><b>Notre client</b></p><p>Est un cabinet d’avocats national de premier plan.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsabilités</b></p><ul><li>Gérer de façon autonome des dossiers de litige commercial et de recours collectifs du début à la fin.</li><li>Représenter les clients devant les tribunaux et plaider des requêtes.</li><li>Superviser et encadrer les avocat(e)s juniors.</li><li>Collaborer étroitement avec l’équipe de Montréal et régulièrement avec les autres bureaux dans le cadre de mandats nationaux d’envergure.</li><li>Contribuer au développement des affaires et aux initiatives internes du cabinet.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Détails du poste</b></p><ul><li>Le bureau de Montréal connaît une croissance rapide, notamment en litige.</li><li>L’équipe est soudée, sans hiérarchie rigide, et très collaborative.</li><li>Le cabinet est reconnu pour son environnement professionnel mais collégial, et pour ses mandats sophistiqués à l’échelle nationale.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Profil recherché</b></p><ul><li>Membre en règle du Barreau du Québec.</li><li>Minimum de 4 ans d’expérience en litige.</li><li>Excellent dossier académique et solides compétences en litige.</li><li>Expérience en litige commercial et/ou en recours collectifs fortement privilégiée.</li><li>Confiant(e), autonome et capable de gérer des dossiers de façon indépendante.</li><li>Excellentes aptitudes en plaidoirie.</li><li>Ouvert aux candidat(e)s provenant de cabinets réputés de taille moyenne.</li><li>Une double qualification (QC/ON) constitue un atout, mais n’est pas requise.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>//</p><p><br></p><p><b>Our Client</b></p><p>A reputable national law firm.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Independently manage commercial litigation and class action files from start to finish.</li><li>Represent clients in court and argue motions.</li><li>Supervise and mentor junior associates.</li><li>Work closely with the Montreal team and regularly with other offices on large national matters.</li><li>Contribute to business development and internal firm initiatives.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Job Details</b></p><ul><li>The Montreal office is growing rapidly, particularly in litigation.</li><li>The team is tight-knit, non-hierarchical, and highly collaborative.</li><li>The firm is known for its professional yet collegial environment, and sophisticated cross-country mandates.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.</li><li>Outstanding academic credentials and strong litigation skills.</li><li>Experience in commercial litigation and/or class actions is strongly preferred.</li><li>Confident, collaborative, and self-sufficient, with the ability to lead files independently.</li><li>Excellent oral advocacy skills.</li><li>Open to candidates from reputable mid-sized firms.</li><li>Dual qualification (QC/ON) is an asset but not required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>REF# 1499</b></p>
