Summary: Interact with partner carriers in order to ensure the highest level of service and capacity while also achieving margin targets. Responsibilities:1. Carrier Relations·        Grow & develop our carrier base with partners that meet or exceed our criteria & compliance standards.·        Continuously grow the network of carriers·        Develop an in depth understanding of partner carrier networks in order maximize their effectiveness.·        Creating new CRQ/CAC entries and monitoring FCA/FSC updates·        Monitor and audit Daily Activity Repot screen on daily basis·        Lead in rate generation/capacity sourcing for sales quotes and RFPs ·        Creating new carriers after vetting them using a series of on-line tools ·        Obtain accurate updates from carriers in a timely manner to provide proper and detailed updates to shipper reps·        Analyze carrier performance on monthly basis and create strategy to develop underperforming carriers·        Monitor and process EDI updates ·        Progress high performing carrier partners from transactional to core status.·        Support Shipper logistics planner to respond to shipper KPI report and require action plan. ·        Support/work with carrier reps in other offices   2. Corporate Responsibilities·        Assist with market rate information in order to complete rate proposals  ·        Liaison with other team members to ensure order completion·        Perform all of the above responsibilities in alignment with our corporate strategic objectives ·        Perform all of the above responsibilities in alignment with our corporate values of LEAD WITH GRACE 3. Measurement Responsibilities·        Ensure data integrity when managing and completing orders (Ex. Notes in the system, apts times, complete load sheets)·        Verify carrier data is accurate before completing orders (Ex. waiting time, extra charges)·        Margins are maintained Load acceptance4. Other Responsibilities·        Flexible work hours and after hours calls·        Support and replace other team members as needed5.
