Senior Change Manager, People Change Management (Contract)

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid, 81 Bay Street)

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

On site expectation: Tuesday and Wednesday plus every third Friday, with flexibility for additional in person sessions as needed

Contract length: 9 months, with potential extension

Rate: $95 to $105 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Change Manager to support people focused change initiatives across Personal and Business Banking. You will lead end user adoption and engagement for medium to high complexity initiatives impacting frontline teams, including banking centers and contact centers. This role blends strategy with hands on delivery and requires strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and practical execution skills.

You will partner closely with project managers, business subject matter experts, and internal change partners to ensure employees are prepared, supported, and equipped to adopt new ways of working.

What you will do

  • Design and execute end to end people change management strategies and tactical plans
  • Conduct impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and readiness assessments
  • Build and deliver engagement plans that drive adoption across frontline audiences
  • Lead and facilitate change activities such as town halls, focus groups, leadership updates, and frontline presentations
  • Create and deliver change materials including playbacks, communications content, and presentations
  • Monitor adoption and identify mitigation strategies to reduce resistance and increase readiness
  • Manage 2 to 3 concurrent initiatives, adapting to projects at different stages from early strategy to mid stream execution
  • Serve as a primary conduit between project teams and frontline employees to ensure feedback is captured and acted on

Must have qualifications

  • 10 plus years of experience in people change management with a strong focus on end user adoption and frontline enablement
  • Proven ability to develop change strategies and translate them into practical, executable plans
  • Hands on delivery experience presenting and facilitating with both senior leaders and frontline teams
  • Prosci is required
  • Experience supporting large, transformational programs
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities

  • Previous experience supporting retail banking, business banking, contact centers, or branch networks
