<p><b>Senior Contract Administrator – MTO Projects (Ontario)</b></p><p>📍 Ontario | Full-Time / Contract | Confidential Searches</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently <b>supporting multiple infrastructure consulting firms</b> with active and upcoming <b>Ministry of Transportation (MTO) highway projects across Ontario</b>. Due to continued project awards and team build-outs, these firms are seeking experienced <b>Senior Contract Administrators (CA)</b> with <b>direct MTO contract administration experience</b>.</p><p><br></p><p>These opportunities are best suited to seasoned CAs who are comfortable administering <b>complex MTO construction contracts</b>, managing contractor issues, and acting as a trusted interface between the Ministry, contractors, and project stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p><b>The Role</b></p><p>As a Senior Contract Administrator, you may be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Acting as the <b>Contract Administrator</b> on MTO highway and transportation projects</li><li>Administering contracts in accordance with <b>MTO General Conditions, OPSS, OPSD, and CAITM requirements</b></li><li>Managing contract changes, claims, and dispute resolution processes</li><li>Reviewing and responding to RFIs, contractor submissions, schedules, and shop drawings</li><li>Issuing <b>Instruction Notices, Change Orders, and Payment Adjustments</b></li><li>Reviewing and certifying contractor progress payments and invoices</li><li>Leading site meetings with MTO representatives, contractors, and consultants</li><li>Supporting and mentoring Assistant Contract Administrators and inspection staff</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What Firms Are Looking For</b></p><p>These roles are intended for <b>proven MTO Contract Administrators</b> who can step into senior responsibility with minimal ramp-up.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Typical requirements include:</b></p><ul><li><b>10+ years</b> of experience in Contract Administration on <b>MTO projects</b></li><li>Completion of <b>multiple (5+) MTO contracts</b> in a CA or Senior CA capacity</li><li>Strong working knowledge of <b>MTO CA processes and documentation</b></li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage contractor issues, claims, and site challenges</li><li>Strong communication, judgement, and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Required Credentials (Firm Dependent):</b></p><ul><li><b>RCCA (OACETT)</b> or <b>P.Eng.
