Skyline Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, multi-disciplinary consulting firm to recruit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager to support continued growth across infrastructure and land development projects in Ontario.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys technical leadership, client interaction, and mentoring junior staff—while still remaining close to the engineering.
The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role delivering and overseeing geotechnical investigations and designs for a diverse portfolio of projects, including transportation, municipal infrastructure, and private development. The role offers autonomy, long-term stability, and a clear path for continued professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage geotechnical projects from proposal through to delivery
- Oversee and review subsurface investigations, laboratory testing, and reporting
- Prepare and review geotechnical interpretive and design reports
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate staff
- Act as a technical point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
- Support business development efforts, proposals, and client relationships
- Ensure work is delivered in line with applicable standards and regulations
What We’re Looking For
- P.Eng. designation (Ontario)
- Typically 8–15+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
- Strong background in geotechnical investigations and design
- Experience working on infrastructure and/or land development projects
- Comfortable managing projects, budgets, and client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
