Department / Branch: Human Resources & Administration DepartmentReporting to: Deputy Head of HRA, with dotted line to Head of HRAEmployment Type: Full-Time Permanent / ContractLocation: Downtown Head OfficeResponsibilities:Support full cycle of recruitment and coordinate the onboarding and orientation processes; Support the resolution of employee relations issues by documenting incidents, coordinating investigations, and providing administrative assistance in disciplinary or grievance procedures; Assist in developing training materials, liaise with external training vendors for program design, and arrange mandatory training sessions to meet regulatory requirements; Contribute to drafting, updating and communicating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and relevant regulatory requirements; Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate assistance; Prepare and compile reports for internal and external purposes, including audits, internal reporting and assessment, regulatory submissions, etc., ensuring accuracy and timeliness; Manage employeerecords, maintain accurate HR database, handle documentation for new hires, terminations and employee status changes; Provide ad hoc support to Administration Team as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; Minimum of 5 years of professional human resources experience, preferably within a financial services or a regulated industry; Familiarity with Canadian labor laws and standards, and relevant regulatory requirements for financial institution; Strong time management and multitasking skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving; Highly detail-oriented with a hands-on and practical approach to managing document preparation, compliance processes, and operational HR activities; Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and sound judgment; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels; Proficiency in Mandarin (written and verbal) is considered an asset.
