The Opportunity

We’re working with a reputable Ontario-based contractor known for delivering complex projects in the commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors — including water and wastewater facilities and structures. With a solid pipeline of work across the province, they’re looking to add a Project Coordinator to their dynamic site team. This is a field-based role (on-site trailer), ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the action and contributing directly to successful project delivery.

The role involves travel to job sites throughout Ontario. All travel-related costs, including accommodations and expenses, are fully covered by the employer.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support the day-to-day operations of active job sites, working closely with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager to keep things running smoothly and on schedule. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with project scheduling and updates using Microsoft Project
  • Handling daily and weekly reporting (progress logs, timesheets, equipment rentals, and safety checks)
  • Managing site documentation, such as delivery slips, pour sheets, and inspection records
  • Supporting material procurement by preparing requisitions and tracking deliveries
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and assisting with on-site logistics
  • Capturing progress through site photography and updates for reporting purposes
  • Helping maintain project files and ensuring documentation is accurate and timely
  • Participating in site meetings, recording minutes, and supporting safety compliance
  • Reviewing and distributing shop drawings and assisting with technical paperwork
  • Acting as a key support for the Superintendent, Project Managers and forepersons in all administrative functions

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • At least 2 years of experience in a commercial or industrial construction environment
  • Comfortable working in a site trailer environment, with a hands-on and adaptable mindset
  • Proficiency with project tools and systems, especially Microsoft Project
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly across Ontario (with expenses covered)
