Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Location: Guelph, ON and Surrounding Areas

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per year

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to join our clients team and oversee ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) construction projects across Guelph and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing full project life cycles, from pre-construction through to final handover. This role requires someone with excellent site management skills, a solid understanding of Canadian construction standards, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple ICI construction projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery
  • Oversee site safety protocols and ensure compliance with all local regulations and company standards
  • Monitor schedules, budgets, and quality control throughout the construction lifecycle
  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintain detailed project documentation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site issues and conflict resolution
  • Work closely with the project management team to maintain alignment on project goals and timelines
  • Travel between sites as required (mileage covered)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in the Canadian construction industry, with a focus on ICI projects
  • Proven track record of managing full life cycle construction projects
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites regularly
  • Working knowledge of construction software is an asset
