Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
• Communicating with clients, consultants, and various government authorities.
• Quality control of field returns, survey calculations, drawings, and final deliverables.
• Mentoring team members, providing advice and guidance on various practice topics.
• Signing and preparing plans for submission to the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC.
• Detailed checking of topographic surveys, legal surveys, and other deliverables.
• Managing projects: preparing estimates, planning, and maintaining budgets.
• Communicating tasks to team members and scheduling work.
Qualifications
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing survey projects and teams.
• Excellent communication skills, in writing and in person.
• Strong software skills and ability to solve technical problems.
• Knowledge and experience in performing legal surveys in the Lower Mainland is an asset.
• Knowledge of Leica equipment; LIDAR Scanners, GPS, and Total Station is an asset.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, Star*Net, Recap, and Cyclone is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license.
Compensation
• The starting salary for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
