We are committed to participating in the ecological transition and to developing the means of transportation of the future that are safe and durable.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Context:</b></p><p>To continue IKOS’s growth in Canada, we are recruiting several <b>Railway Systems Engineers</b> keen to take part in our missions in Montreal or potentially remotely from Canada. As part of the team, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and validation of advanced railway systems, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, contractual documents, applicable rules and regulations, and company procedures.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Work on the <b>design, integration, testing, and</b> <b>validation </b>of railway systems (including control for onboard and wayside).</li><li>Support system design activities by analysing technical solutions and interfaces between subsystems.</li><li>Define architecture, functionality, and operational concepts of various train systems in compliance with client requirements. </li><li>Assess the impact of design changes on systems and interfaces, ensuring traceability and compliance.</li><li>Identify, document, and manage system interfaces across subsystems, ensuring compatibility and seamless integration across railway systems</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve system integration challenges and support field testing activities.</li><li>Define and implement testing methodology and testing operations on functions and subsystems. </li><li>Analyse, document, and assess test results, and prepare test installations to support system-level verification and validation.</li></ul><p>Conduct system and subsystem validation activities, including functional, operational, and performance validation, across the railway system lifecycle.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Wed love you to apply if:</b></p><ul><li>You must hold a Bachelors and/or Masters degree in the Science or Engineering field.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the railway industry.</li><li>Hands-on experience with systems engineering activities, including system design, integration, testing, and validation. </li><li>Experience in the railway system development lifecycle.</li><li>Experience with wayside and onboard railway systems is an asset.</li><li>Excellent technical writing and communication skills.</li><li>Strong planning and organizational skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>✅ Why Join Us?</b></p><ul><li>Career Growth & Development: We offer tailored career plans, ongoing professional development, and clear progression pathways thanks to our IKOS Academy.</li><li>High-Impact Projects: Work on pioneering railway and/or energy projects alongside industry leaders worldwide.</li><li>International Experience: Here it is possible!
