What you will be doing
Salary: $65,000 to $80,000
Reason for vacancy: This is a backfill for an existing vacancy within the team.
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist who enjoys owning full-cycle recruitment and partnering closely with leaders to hire technical sales professionals and engineers in a fast-paced, growth environment.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role is ideal for a Talent Acquisition professional who thrives in a roll-up-your-sleeves recruiting environment and wants to make a visible impact on business growth. You will manage recruitment end to end while continuously strengthening hiring practices, candidate experience, and talent pipelines.
Key Accountabilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding across multiple roles and locations, ensuring timely, high-quality hires that support organizational growth.
Partner closely with hiring managers across multiple locations to understand technical requirements, team needs and hiring priorities.
Own the candidate experience by proactively sourcing talent, building strong talent pipelines, and conducting structured, behavioural interviews.
Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness) to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
Support DEIB best practices across recruitment and onboarding to promote fair, inclusive, and unbiased hiring decisions.
What You’ll Do
Recruit for a range of roles with a strong emphasis on technical sales, engineering, and specialized positions
Proactively source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, career fairs, industry and alumni associations, and targeted outreach
Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles
Coordinate summer positions/university/college Co-Op recruitment cycles.
Manage offers, negotiations, and onboarding to ensure a smooth and positive experience for candidates and hiring leaders
Use structured interview tools and scoring methods to support objective hiring decisions
Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting using the ATS (ADP WorkForceNow is an asset)
Stay current on labour market trends, sourcing strategies, and compensation insights

What you bring to the table
5+ years of hands-on recruitment experience, ideally in a growth-oriented or multi-location organization
Proven success recruiting technical, specialized, or sales-driven roles (engineering, automation, industrial, or technical sales experience is a strong asset)
Strong sourcing capability and confidence engaging passive candidates
Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and influencing hiring decisions
Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while remaining organized and responsive
ATS experience (ADP WorkForceNow is an asset)
Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
