Established in 2016, we have worked with clients across North America to challenge the status quo, create innovative solutions, and build products and services that people love.</p><p><br></p><p>We’re always looking for experienced Service Designers who can see the whole picture—people, processes, policies, platforms—and design experiences that actually work in the real world. As a Senior Service Designer, you’ll help untangle complex services and turn them into experiences that are clear, coherent, and human. You’ll work across discovery, strategy, and delivery—often connecting the dots other do not see.</p><p><br></p><p><b>We aren’t hiring for a specific opening right now, but were always looking for talented designers for future projects. We build relationships with great designers over time and bring people in when there’s a meaningful opportunity to do impactful work together.</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p><ul><li>8+ years of hands-on experience in service design, design strategy, or a related field, working on multi-touchpoint systems</li><li>A strong portfolio showing systemic thinking, service blueprints, and evidence of how your work influenced organizational change</li><li>Experience designing for complex environments, such as large-scale public sector initiatives, healthcare systems, or enterprise transformations</li><li>Confidence facilitating workshops with diverse stakeholders and navigating complex institutional hierarchies to drive consensus</li><li>A systems-thinking approach—you care about how the “backstage” processes enable the “frontstage” experience</li><li>Comfort working remotely with distributed teams and managing asynchronous collaboration effectively</li><li>Clear communication skills—the ability to tell a compelling story about the value of service design to non-designers</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Nice to Haves</b></p><ul><li>Experience with SaaS or digital transformation within legacy industries</li><li>Expertise in inclusive design and accessibility within public services</li><li>Knowledge of change management or organizational design</li><li>Experience coaching or mentoring teams through a design thinking transition</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Outwitly Inc. is committed to fostering, cultivating and preserving a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion, and collaborating with team members and candidates to identify and remove barriers to employment.
