About Brickeye

Brickeye leverages the power of data from construction to drive risk mitigation and productivity gains. We are a fast-growing construction technology company developing the world’s most advanced IoT-based risk mitigation platform for water damage mitigation, concrete quality/defect control, and real-time site intelligence. We protect construction projects from avoidable loss, reduce the total cost of risk, and help asset owners, general contractors, and insurers deliver projects on time and on budget.

The Challenge

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager in the Vancouver area who can bridge the gap between Brickeye technology and construction site implementation in domestic and hydronics systems.

Your mission will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences within our Construction Risk Technology division by analyzing MEP drawings, managing field deliverables and a variety of stakeholders – from Project Directors and Superintendents to mechanical trade partners – ensuring the successful implementation of Brickeye technology services. This is a high-leverage role designed for an individual with expertise in high-rise mechanical building systems who is ready to drive site intelligence and risk mitigation.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing all on-site communications with site team, engineers, and contractors.
  • Lead the implementation of Brickeye services from the initial review of MEP/architectural drawings through commissioning and live support.
  • Utilize technical expertise to oversee survey, installation, and maintenance services of plumbing and mechanical water mitigation systems, ensuring every component meets company and project standards.
  • Act as the lead technical expert for on-site Plumbing and Mechanical systems diagnostics and troubleshooting, developing mitigation strategies for day-to-day challenges.
  • Train site personnel on the response plan and onboarding on the CR App. Conduct periodic inspections of the site to verify system functionality.
  • Evaluate existing service delivery to identify opportunities for automation and performance reliability.
  • Maintain precise project records, including progress reports, meeting minutes, change orders, and response plans to ensure total transparency with the client

⚙️ Qualifications & Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical and Plumbing Management/Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in mechanical/plumbing fundamentals on domestic water and hydronics systems for high-rise or vertical construction.
  • Proven ability to manage complex project timelines and technical deliverables with high autonomy.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret MEP/architectural blueprints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu and familiarity with IoT technologies (e.g., automatic shut-off valves, flow sensors) are assets.
  • Familiarity with Canadian and American regulatory requirements related to mechanical systems.
  • You actively use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and others) to unlock new possibilities beyond traditional methods. You are energized by how AI enhances what you can achieve.
