Our client is currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant with litigation experience to join their team in the Toronto, ON office . This is an immediate opening offering a hybrid work model.
Preparing court documents, including but not limited to, application/motion materials, statements of claim/notices of action, mediation briefs, factums and book of authorities;
Supporting file work by identifying, obtaining, and organizing documents from the clients and from other parties to the litigation;
Docketing time using case management software.
Minimum 2 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting;
A Certificate or Diploma from a recognized College, legal assistant or law clerk program;
Proficiency in the use and application of MS Office, and Adobe;
