<p><b>Truck Technician (310T certified or Red Seal)</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Job description:</b></p><p>Trans-Frt McNamara is looking for licensed technicians who are motivated and determined to make an impact in the transportation industry. As a growing fleet we are looking for multiply individuals to fill a few positions located in Ayr, Ontario.</p><p><br></p><p><b>We offer:</b></p><ul><li>Competitive hourly wages based on level of experience</li><li>100% Company paid extended health benefits</li><li>Annual work boot allowance</li><li>Company Overalls with laundry service</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Duties:</b></p><ul><li>Maintenance and preventative maintenance of company fleet to ensure efficient operation</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery</li><li>Responsible for the inspections, diagnosis, and repair on both tractors and trailers</li><li>Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions</li><li>Follow and practice workplace health and safety regulations and ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste</li><li>Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities</li><li>Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and environmentally sound facility</li><li>Other related tasks, as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Valid 310T license or a valid RedSeal</li><li>Proven experience as a Mechanic</li><li>Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment</li><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engines</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance applications as well as the transportation industry rules and regulations</li><li>Have their own set of tools</li><li>Creative and efficient problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to varying situations.</li><li>Be self-motivated and proactive in taking on any task that may arise</li><li>Cooperative attitude, team player</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Job Types: </b>Full-time, Permanent, Monday -Friday 8 am – 5 pm</p>
