Truck Technician (310T certified or Red Seal)
Job description:
Trans-Frt McNamara is looking for licensed technicians who are motivated and determined to make an impact in the transportation industry. As a growing fleet we are looking for multiply individuals to fill a few positions located in Ayr, Ontario.

Duties:
- Maintenance and preventative maintenance of company fleet to ensure efficient operation
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery
- Responsible for the inspections, diagnosis, and repair on both tractors and trailers
- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions
- Follow and practice workplace health and safety regulations and ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and environmentally sound facility
- Other related tasks, as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid 310T license or a valid RedSeal
- Proven experience as a Mechanic
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance applications as well as the transportation industry rules and regulations
- Have their own set of tools
- Creative and efficient problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to varying situations.
- Be self-motivated and proactive in taking on any task that may arise
- Cooperative attitude, team player
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Monday -Friday 8 am – 5 pm
