Position: Senior Epicor Kinetic Developer

The Position

This is a hands-on development position and requires extensive hands-on coding on Epicor Kinetic, plus functional experience. Candidates must have excellent communication, presentation, and consulting experience and be able to work directly with the client without supervision. This role offers a remote work environment, a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement in a dynamic setting, and a comprehensive pay rate range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage Kinetic tools (SDK, BPM, BAQ, functions) to extend user-defined data with custom logic, process data, and tailor user experience
  • Create screen changes, application builds, and dashboards using Kinetic Application Studio.
  • Develop SSRS reports to provide valuable business insights.
  • Create and customize Business Process Management (BPM) solutions to streamline workflows and improve alerting and reporting functions.
  • Optimize and document customizations, ensuring upgrade readiness and reducing support issues.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive IT experience.
  • MUST HAVE Minimum 5 years of hands-on development on Epicor Kinetic. This is not a fit for a functional consultant, but a senior hands-on technical development consultant.
  • Expertise in C# or .NET Framework, for customizing business logic, building APIs, and extending Kinetic’s functionality.
  • Expertise in SQL for querying, modifying, and analyzing data within Kinetic’s database.
  • Experience in JavaScript and AngularJS for developing custom web components and UI elements within Kinetic.
  • Experience in XML for configuring and customizing the Kinetic application.
  • Optimize Epicor Kinetic Framework (EKF) for creating business rules, workflows, and data processing logic within Kinetic.
