Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled psychotherapist specializing in EMDR and/or DBR therapy to join our virtual practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping clients navigate their emotional and psychological challenges through remote therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions virtually
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs
- Provide crisis intervention and support
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay updated on best practices and continuing education in the field
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree in social work
- You must need a valid license or certification to practice psychotherapy in any Canadian province
- Minimum 2-year experience in a clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Specialization in EMDR and/or Somatic and Sensorimotor Approaches
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and technologies
