OverviewArrow Workforce Solutions is currently hiring a Material Handler to join our client located in Oshawa, ON. We offer part time hours as per business needs and a friendly work environment.Tenure: Part-TimeShift Timings- 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM Location: Oshawa, ONPay Rate: $20/hr.Key Responsibilities:Receive, sort, prepare, ship boxes and pallets of Warehouse materials on daily basisInteract with company contacts and carriers for shipping and receiving functionsKeep warehouse in safe, clean state at all timesMaintain online records and work reports dailyOther duties assignedRequirements:Physically fit to move boxes on/off pallets ; boxes typically 15-30 lbs., on occasion up to 50lbsAble to use manual pallet jack to move pallets in warehouse setting as required (forklift license not required )Computer proficient -emails, material tracking, Warehouse Management System (WMS), carrier shipping programsStrong communication skills ; able to resolve a rangeof warehouse shipment inquiries with various business units (written and verbal)Independent worker, reliable, customer service orientation
