<p><b>About the Role:</b></p><p> Our client is seeking a <b>Water & Wastewater Lead</b> to join their team in Vancouver, BC. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Lead and manage a portfolio of water and wastewater projects from concept to completion</li><li>Oversee all phases of project development, including planning, permitting, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison with clients and maintain strong, long-term relationships</li><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and contractors</li><li>Prepare and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical documentation</li><li>Ensure all designs and deliverables comply with applicable regulations and standards</li><li>Mentor and guide junior and intermediate staff, supporting professional development</li><li>Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive resolution of issues</li><li>Integrate sustainability and resiliency principles into infrastructure design</li><li>Support business development by identifying opportunities, attending industry events, and contributing to proposal development</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering</li><li>Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or project management role</li><li>Strong technical background in the design of pump stations, water/wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and related infrastructure</li><li>Knowledge of permitting processes, environmental regulations (e.g., NPDES), and industry standards (e.g., AWWA, WEF)</li></ul>
